MEET ‘THE ADMINISTRATOR’
The ‘Administrator’ is the pet name given to the Pioneer Series 1 4WD employed by Mark & Emma, the owners or Aultbea Lodge Resort situated on beautiful Loch Ewe in Ross-Shire, NW Scotland. The Quad is well named as Emma recounts,
“Day to day this very versatile quad is used to cart everything necessary to carry out the changeovers in our lodges. Thereafter it's our workhorse in the grounds and occasionally we get time to take it up the rough track onto the moorland behind us.
It was also a godsend for when we were re-cladding all the Lodges - everything in the skip was moved by the quad & trailer, all the building materials including the large larch planks were moved from the house to site in a similar fashion.
The lodges are set over 2.5 acres that was very overgrown when we purchased the business in 2014. The Eco Charger is brilliant for carting trailer loads of mulch, tree off-cuts etc; it even towed a Transit van out of a ditch - no problem!
We honestly couldn't be without our 'Administrator'. Along with all the hard work it does, it’s also quiet and so is the perfect fit for our business - where we want everyone to enjoy the peace and quiet.
We looked long and hard for a vehicle which would suit our business as an all rounder. We looked at golf carts, quads and small tractors and the various attachments for groundwork, but no one piece of equipment could tick all the boxes and multiple accessories meant increased costs and storage issues.
Mark found Eco Charger online and we arranged to make the long drive down to Devon in November 2016, to see the Quad in action.”
We needed a powerful, quiet, and adaptable vehicle - and we got it!! Plus it's makes all the jobs fun and even the cat approves! All in all a great investment.
